As we look towards Christmas we welcome the hope and peace that only Jesus can bring into our hearts. More than that, we read in Isaiah 9 that His peace will be an eternal reality on the new earth. That's a promise that will carry us through the week.

He has blessed us with spiritual brothers and sisters who, although not perfect, genuinely care and love us for who we are in Christ. May our hearts be thankful to God for what He has given us.

We happily remember the times our dads kindly showed us a better way to hold a bat, tie a tie, turn a wrench, or how to read a book. We needed correction and they gently helped us. In our walk with God we need correction as well, and we'll look at Galatians 6:1-2 to see how the local church ought to be doing it.
