The mission of the Women’s Ministry at Lakeshore is to equip women to live godly lives, love one another, and glorify God by serving and learning together. This mission is built on the principle of discipleship found in Titus 2:1-5, and it's shaped by the gospel of grace that is training us to live for God (Titus 2:11-14).
Women's Bible Study
Annie VanNiekerk is leading a study on the “Kinsman Redeemer” from the book of Ruth beginning the first week of October. This study will be held at the church with the option of coming Monday evenings at 6:45 pm or Tuesday mornings at 9:45 am.
We know it's important, but as busy adults, we often have a hard time making it happen. Join the Lakeshore women's memorization group for accountability, tips, and a plan.
Young Moms Ministry
Motherhood holds its own joys and challenges, and between diaper changes and carpooling, we have to be intentional to focus on our relationships with Christ and to foster relationships with other moms. The LBC Young Moms Ministry aims to assist you in your walk with Christ by connecting, supporting, and encouraging young moms through the ladies ministries of LBC with Bible Study, fellowship opportunities, and resources.
You can set up an event by filling out the form. Also, check out the Facebook page to keep up with what's happening.
les Belles Femmes
A fellowship group for single women, Belles Femmes means 'beautiful women.' We are created in the image of God and are precious daughters of the King! Because of our shared sisterhood, we want to encourage and support one another in our daily Christian walk, so we will have the opportunity to:
Go out for lunch after church the third Sunday of each month
Participate in various events
Use our gifts to help as needs arise in the community
Women 2 women
Get away from the craziness of home and join us for an hour! This is a time to get together with other ladies to fellowship and encourage one another. Meet new friends and re-connect with old friends. Gatherings are once a month on the third Thursday at 6:30 pm.
CULTIVATING A COMMUNITY OF GRACE
October 6th, 2018 with Holly Stratton
The book of Titus is a powerful encouragement to the Church to create a community of grace where the gospel defines our relationships, dictates our responses, and drives our religious affections. Growing our understanding of the power of gospel authority, Titus offers us instruction on holy living that commends Christ to a lost world from genuine hearts of love.
