Christmas Joy

Pastor Nate brings the message, "Christmas Joy” from Psalm 4 and John 15:1-11.  The season with all of its festivities is ramping up as we get closer and closer to Christmas.  Christmas parties, choir concerts, and gift exchanges are putting smiles on our faces. But, does God give us a joy that goes beyond the thrills of the season? Yes, He does and on Sunday we'll study this theme of Biblical joy.

Christmas Hope

Pastor Nate brings the message, "Christmas Hope” from Romans 5:1-5.  We begin our Christmas series starting with the Biblical theme of Hope.  Christmas truly is a wonderful season that we try to fill with all sorts of celebration and happiness.  But, God has given His people a promise that the future eternal benefits we have through Christ will be so beautiful and glorious that if we could see them now you would be blown away.  As we think about Christmas, let's remember that the best is yet to come.

The Wonderfully Uncomfortable Path of Repentance

Pastor Stephen brings the message, "The Wonderfully Uncomfortable Path of Repentance” from 2 Corinthians 6:16b-7:13a.  Pastor Stephen brings the message, "The Wonderfully Uncomfortable Path of Repentance" from 2 Corinthians 6:16b-7:13a.  Acknowledging our sin isn't necessarily fun. Having others acknowledge our sin certainly isn't fun. And then internally dealing with the reality of our sin, and leaving that sin behind, may be the hardest part of all. But the apostle Paul shows us in 2 Corinthians 7 that this process of grief and discomfort is actually a beautiful gift of God that brings benefits that are easily worth it in the long run.

Prayer for the Mission

The message is taken from Ephesians 6:18-24. Ever intimidated by sharing The Gospel with others?  It appears Paul was too because he asks for prayer that he would be bold in this area.  "What do we make of this?" and "how is it to be applied?" will be the bulk of the sermon as we wrap up our study on Ephesians.

Prayer and Spiritual Warfare

The message is taken from Ephesians 6:18. Christians experience continual, spiritual warfare because Satan does not take holidays or vacations.  Our battle rages on, and in light of that God gives us one more way to engage in war: prayer.  We'll be studying what the Bible has to say about the important practice of prayer.

Standing in His Strength - Part 2

This message is taken from Ephesians 6:10-18. Satan is full of nasty deception, using countless schemes of attack in spiritual warfare. He’s going after the jugular vein of our faith in Christ. In this passage we learn how to stand firm and how to fight back in battle with the victory-giving armor God provides.

Standing in His Strength - Part 1

The message is taken from Ephesians 6:10-13. Knowing that we are in a spiritual battle, Paul concludes Ephesians with the grand finale of helping Christians stand in God’s strength, not their own.

Everyday Work for God - Part 2

The message is, "Everyday Work for God” - Part 2 from Ephesians 6:5-9.  Each Christian is called to render his/her service to the Lord (Ephesians 6:7), meaning that whatever task God has given to you today is to be done unto the Lord.  We’ll look at how everyday work is meaningful to and encouraged by God.

Everyday Work for God - Part 1

This message is taken from Ephesians 6:5-9. Experiencing discontentment with your day-to-day work? Wondering if there is anything significant to the thousands of hours you spend in a lifetime on your daily tasks? Is God using this for a lasting purpose? Why should I even work? We will be answering these question in this two part series on work.

When Surprised, Still Obey God

This message is taken from Matthew 1:18-25. With Christmas right around the corner, we want to focus on the coming of Jesus. Joseph was shocked with a pregnancy he had nothing to do with, yet obediently followed God’s bigger plan to save His people (that’s you and me!) from their sin.

Wayne's World

The message is taken from Romans 15:14-19. As we celebrate the ministry of Pastor Wayne, let’s ask the question - what is the pastor’s job? While many answers are often given to this question, Paul gives the one that is most important and the one Pastor Wayne has pursued with his life.

Marriage - Part 2; Husband: Love Your Wife

This message is taken from Ephesians 5:25-33. When it comes to the way they relate to their wives, husbands tend to fall into three categories: resentment, respect, or love. Husband, God has given you a clear path to follow in regards to your marriage: love your wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.
