Phil Hunt brings the message, “The Heart of God Toward Sinners” from Jonah Chapter 1.
Pastor Nate brings the message, "God, Test Me” from Psalm 26. We gathered together as a church family around the communion table and celebrated the victorious work of Christ over sin and death. Paul says that as we approach this gathering we ought to examine ourselves for unrepentant sin. The passage and sermon of Psalm 26 helps us to confidently examine our lives under God's steadfast love...love that changes our lives.
Pastor Nate brings the message, "God’s Plan for Shame” from Psalm 25. Shame occasionally shows up and is the unwanted guest in our hearts. People's words, their hurtful actions, or even our own sins can open the door to this intruder, and he can stick around for years. In Psalm 25 David helps us voice our hurt and plead with the Lord for help.
Pastor Nate brings the message, "We’re Not That Glorious” from Psalm 24. It is so easy to slip back into the mindset of the sun: "everything is supposed to revolve around me." But, God graciously sets us straight in Psalm 24 by showing us the high glory of Jesus. Everything, including ourselves, revolves around Him.
Pastor Andy brings the message, "The Influence of the Resurrection.” The resurrection of Jesus is the defining moment in human history. It is a miracle without parallel in all the history of mankind. And because of its sheer magnitude we sometimes forget the practical benefits that God has given believers on the basis of Christ's resurrection. Lord willing, these will leave us in a thankful attitude as we share in the Lord's table together at the end of the service.
Pastor Nate brings the message, "Last Words” from Joshua 22-24. In this final sermon of our Joshua series the last words from Israel's leader come in the form of a challenge: "Choose whom you will serve". Every day, every moment we are making a choice as to whom we will serve. It's either God or self. Pray that God uses His Word this Sunday to encourage His people to choose Him.
