Communities of disciples seeking to make disciples

This is what we strive for in our small groups at Lakeshore. Each time a group meets they care for the members in the group and ultimately seek to build stronger disciples of Christ. The group spends time studying the Word, holding each other accountable to be doers of the Word, and praying for one another. Yet, group life doesn’t just end there. The small groups don’t exist to be an event, but a way of life. This means that we try to engage one another in the days between the meetings, and live “life on life.”

As the group grows together they also seek to fulfill the great commission; to make disciples that make disciples (Matt 28:18-20). We strive to not make this another thing that we do, but a mindset that we carry with us as we talk with our family, neighbors, and coworkers.

If you are interested in growing as a disciple of Christ, then join a small group. Contact Luke Bylsma if you have any questions. Browse the list of groups below and contact a leader if you are interested in joining a small group.
