Adult Ministry and Church Fellowship

We’ve been called a “teaching” church, and it’s true. Grownups never stop growing and changing and the task of the church is to facilitate that spiritual process. In this section you’ll find descriptions of our Small Groups, ABF classes, and all the other ways we work at equipping and discipling each other for the glory of God.

In Acts 2 it’s clear that the early church met regularly in the temple for the purpose of evangelism. It was a weekly mass meeting where they came together and worshiped and the apostles proclaimed the gospel with power and passion. They also, according to vs 46, met regularly in homes during the week for the purpose of prayer, fellowship, and doctrinal instruction. At Lakeshore Baptist we follow the same pattern. We worship together on Sunday, and we also meet in “Small Groups” for the purpose of prayer, fellowship, and Bible study.

Adult Prayer Meeting – Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

There are also a variety of Bible studies for adults and youth during the week.
